Audi family gets a new member: A6 55 TFSI e Quattro, a versatile hybrid plug-in with 367 hp.

Audi has announced the launch of orders for the A6 55 TFSI e quattro, the PHEV version of the Ingolstadt high-class limousine. It was presented in March in Geneva, alongside Q5, A6, A7 and A8.

In addition to the starting price - 66,850 euros in Germany - Audi also shared some technical information regarding the A6 55 TFSI e quattro. It uses as a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder gasoline engine capable of delivering 252 hp; paired with him is a 105 kW electric motor, the total power of the machine being 367 hp and 500 Nm.

The electric motor is powered by a battery with a capacity of 14.1 kWh (a full charge requires about two and a half hours from a 7.4kW charger), which promises an electric range of up to 53 kilometers. 

In terms of performance, the PHEV version of the A6 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 5.6 seconds and up to a maximum speed (electronically limited) of 250 km / h. Electrically, the maximum speed it can reach is 135 km / h.

The Audi A6 55 TFSI e quattro has three different running modes. The EV mode uses only electrical resources, while in Hybrid both engines are put to work in order to take advantage of all the engine's support; Hold mode uses only gasoline engines.

The car has an available S line exterior package black styling package, black external mirror housings, and more. The car can be fitted with matrix LED headlights, sports seats, four-zone automatic air, Audi virtual cockpit, sport suspension, 19-inch wheels, and red brake calipers.
