The US electric car startup Bollinger Motors wants to expand its range with a purely electric delivery van. The e-transporter, which has now been presented in the form of the Deliver-E concept, is scheduled to go into production in 2022.

Bollinger wants to join a growing field of manufacturers who are trying to bring new models onto the market in view of the increasing demand for electric vans.

The platform of the Deliver-E is driven by the front axle. Technical data for the drive are not yet given. different battery options should be able to be selected - specifically with 70, 105, 140, 175 and 210 kWh. All variants will have DC charging options. Charging takes place with a maximum output of 100 kilowatts.

The delivery van will be available as light and medium-sized truck, according to the US system from class 2B to class 5, that is, with a total weight of 2.2 tons to 8.8 tons.

The Deliver-E is the third vehicle that Bollinger Motors is introducing: In 2017, the company presented the Bollinger B1 E-SUV. The following year, Bollinger announced the Bollinger B2, which is based on the same platform but has an open loading area. Series production for the B1 and B2 should start this year and both vehicles should come onto the market next year.

Bollinger Motors is in talks with a contract manufacturer to bring the e-delivery van into production from 2022.
