Karma Automotive has revealed its first 100% electric car. The Karma Revero GTE will be available in the USA from spring 2021 and in China and Europe from autumn 2021.

The Karma Revero GTE will first be offered two battery options with 75 and 100 kWh NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt) lithium-ion battery capacity, which enable a range of 321 kilometers and 482 kilometers. A more powerful model ("hyper-range") with a range of 644 kilometers will follow afterward.

The AC charging power of the Revero GTE is 11 kW but 150 kW should be possible on DC Fast Charging column.

The 2021 Revero GTE promises acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds and an electronic torque vectoring function. The company’s first fully-electric vehicle Revero GTE is based on the E-Flex platform.

Carlos Gonzalez, Vehicle Platforms Manager at Karma Automotive, said:

"By creating GTE on a Karma E-Flex Platform, we can showcase another mobility option for customers who have shown interest in this sustainable solution, in addition to potential partner companies interested in the platform technology for their own use."

Vlad Kalika, Vice President of Powertrain at Karma Automotive, said:

"The Revero GTE is a testament to Karma’s future and a continuation of the success of our definitive luxury electric Revero GT",

Until now there are no prices for the all-electric Karma Revero GTE luxury sedan.

The Revero GTE is assembled largely by hand at Karma’s Innovation and Customization Center (KICC) in Moreno Valley, California.

Karma Automotive evolved from the Fisker Automotive founded by Henrik Fisker and has been part of the Chinese auto supplier Wanxiang since 2015.
