Dacia has released the first images and information on the Spring Electric pre-series concept, which has an autonomy of over 200 kilometres and anticipates the release of the series version in 2021. As expected, the first electric Dacia is based on the Renault K-ZE being a mini SUV with 4 genuine seats and 5 doors.

After numerous speculations in the international press, Dacia published the first official images and information on the pre-series concept that anticipates the launch of its first electric model in history.

The concept presented is painted in grey with elements in fluorescent orange around the door handles, wheel arches, the lower section of the doors and the bars on the roof. Also, the manufacturer from Mioveni says he paid special attention to the lights, in the context in which the Full LED headlights were implemented in two ways: a horizontal band at the top and 4 graphic elements integrated into the bumper.

Given that Dacia Spring has the proportions of Renault K-ZE it is expected that the technical details will not differ too much. On the Chinese market, Renault K-ZE has an electric motor of 44 hp and 120 Nm and reaches a maximum speed of 105 km / h. In China, the autonomy is 250 km according to the old NEDC cycle, which means around 200 km WLTP.

Renault does not give any technical details just announcing that the autonomy will be over 200 km WLTP and that the car will debut in 2021.
