The Ram brand has officially announced that the name of its first fully electric pickup will be the Ram 1500 REV. The disclosure of the vehicle's name is the most recent step in Ram's electrification strategy, which aims to provide the market with the most advanced and innovative electrically powered goods available.

"Last year, we at Ram began a revolution by enabling customers to participate at the beginning of our electrification journey by providing feedback on what characteristics they seek in an electric pickup vehicle. Next year, when we finally deliver our first electric pickup, the all-new Ram 1500 REV, to these customers, we cannot contain our excitement. We are convinced that the Ram 1500 REV will establish a new standard in its market segment by providing customers with the finest possible mix of the four qualities that are most important to them: driving range, payload, towing capacity, and charging time."

The new Ram 1500 REV electric pickup truck will go into production sometime next year, and additional details regarding the vehicle will be available later in February. A formal unveiling of the new pickup truck powered entirely by electricity will occur in the following months. The new Ram 1500 REV will likely be a spin-off of the Ram 1500 Revolution.

The Ram brand was introduced as a separate division in 2009 to cater to truck purchasers' requirements and produce automobiles that established new benchmarks for the quality standards in the industry. The Ram brand manufactures vehicles suitable for any work and route, thanks to its comprehensive lineup of trucks, which includes the Ram 1500, the Ram 2500/3500 Heavy Duty, Ram 1500 TRX pickup truck, the Ram 3500/4500/5500 Chassis Cab, and the Ram ProMaster.

According to the most recent JD Power APEAL survey, which examines customers' emotional connection with their vehicles, the 2022 Ram 1500 was ranked as the top vehicle within the large light truck category. The Ram 1500 has been named the best pickup truck for the past three years.

Customers interested in learning more about their vehicles can use the Know & Go smartphone application, which is included in the Ram 1500 lineup. This program provides an exciting experience.
