Humble Motors has presented a vehicle concept that comes close to a solar-powered electric SUV, its name: Humble One. The developers expect 16 to 97 kilometres of additional range per day from the 7.5 square meters of solar cells. Naturally, the electric SUV will be able to charge in standard ways, from AC and DC devices.

Humble Motors is based in Los Angeles and has one goal: to develop cars that are not only sustainable but also do not depend on any infrastructure. The company has a solution for this: solar energy.

With the built-in solar cells, lightweight construction technology and a particularly aerodynamic shape, Humble Motors wants to make its electric SUV an especially efficient vehicle. The Humble One should bring 761 kW (1020 hp) of power and a range of 800 kilometres.

If successful, the electric SUV could compete with models from Tesla, Lucid and Rivian.

Several pictures published show the Humble One as a four-door electric SUV with five seats.

The basic configuration will cost $ 109,000. Humble Motors has already started accepting pre-orders for the car. The deposit for the Humble One booking is $ 300, which is fully refundable. According to the manufacturer, $ 20 million down payments have already been recorded, which translates into a volume of 67,000 pre-orders.

The Humble One is expected to go into production in 2024 and deliver from 2025.

Humble Motors is run by former Harvard graduate and US Navy veteran, Dima Stacy. He has built an excellent team of professionals, many of whom have worked with leading car manufacturers. @ via humblemotors.
