Kia Soul EV wins 2020 "World Urban Car" international award.  In addition to the Soul award, its new Kia Telluride has won the World Car of the Year award.

The Kia Soul EV electric was crowned as the ideal car for the city by the jury of the World Car Awards not only for the combination of zero emissions with high performance and superior autonomy but also for the ideal dimensions and the personality of the shapes that enhance functionality.

Kia Soul EV is the versatile electric par excellence thanks to the possibility of having it or with a 39.2 kWh or 64 kWh battery pack that ensures the autonomy of 452 kilometres (according to the WLTP homologation cycle), but above all strong in a price-content ratio unparalleled and a series of advanced technologies that range from safety systems to technological regenerative braking systems.

Thomas Schemera, Executive Vice President and Head of Product Division, Kia Motors said:

"This is one of the hardest-fought competitions in the global automotive industry, proving that the Telluride and Soul EV are both truly outstanding vehicles. These accolades are testament to the talents and efforts of a worldwide team, who all strive to create desirable, high-quality and practical cars that drivers love."

The World Car Awards is a non-profit association that awards prizes through a prestigious jury made up of 86 automotive journalists from around the world.
