These are the ten most successful bestsellers after eight full months of this year. Obviously, there is still a third of the current year, which will cause these figures to fluctuate.
Top 10 best-selling hybrid cars in 2019 :
1. Toyota C-HR: 10,364 units
The Toyota C-HR is the most successful model among plug-in hybrids and hybrids in Spain. With more than 10,000 units registered during the first eight months of the year, the C-HR is a true reflection of Toyota's absolute authority in the hybrid market. It is a car with a non-plug-in hybrid engine with 122 hp of power, the average consumption of 4.7 liters per 100 km and a starting price of 24,850 euros.
2. Toyota Corolla: 9,104 units
The return of Toyota Corolla to the European market could not have been better, at least in terms of registrations in Spain. It is available with two hybrid engines, one with 122 hp and another with 180 hp of power, as well as three different bodies - compact, family and sedan. The most efficient version is available from 20,850 euros.
3. Toyota RAV4: 8,216 units
Third place on the list and another model of the Japanese firm, the recently renewed Toyota RAV4. In this case, it offers a non-plug-in hybrid propulsion system with 220 hp of power, average consumption of 4.4 liters and a starting price of 31,800 euros.
4. Toyota Yaris: 5,921 units
The company's smallest hybrid model and the only hybrid in the utility segment. The Toyota Yaris has a hybrid propulsion system with 100 HP of power, the average consumption of 3.7 liters per 100 kilometers and a starting price of 16,600 euros.
5. Kia Niro: 3,847 units
It offers a non-plug-in hybrid system of 141 hp with an average approved consumption of 4.8 liters. It stands out for its spacious interior and its 401-liter trunk, as well as its starting price of 23,700 euros.
6. Lexus UX: 1,821 units
The Lexus UX is the smallest hybrid SUV in the range that debuted on the market just a few months ago. It exceeds 1,800 units registered this year and is equipped with a non-plug-in hybrid propulsion system with 184 HP of power, the average consumption of 5.3 liters and a starting price of 33,900 euros.
7. Lexus NX: 1,796 units
The Lexus NX is a non-plug-in hybrid car with a propulsion system with a power of 197 hp, with automatic CVT type transmission and front or all-wheel-drive systems. Approve an average consumption of 7 liters per 100 km and prices start at 41,900 euros.
8. Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV: 978 units
The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV has a propulsion system with 230 HP of power, the average consumption of just 1.8 liters per 100 km and a starting price of 36,850 euros. In addition, you can travel up to 50 kilometers in fully electric mode.
9. Mini Countryman PHEV: 855 units
The Mini Countryman PHEV has 224 HP of power, the average consumption of just 2.4 liters per 100 km and has a price that starts at 39,900 euros.
10. Lexus CT: 702 units
The last on the list is the Lexus CT, the compact non-plug-in hybrid of the Japanese company.
