Toyota has chosen to install Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2 tyres as standard equipment on its new Toyota Yaris Cross, a B-segment SUV specially designed for the European market. The dimension to be installed on this new B-segment SUV is 215 / 50R18 with a load and speed index of 92V.

Toyota expects to produce more than 150,000 Yaris Cross per year at its TMMF Onnaing plant near Valenciennes in France, and will then achieve a market share for the B-SUV segment of over 8%.

The Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2 tyres are designed to meet the specific needs of Toyota and its customers. The EfficientGrip Performance 2 tyres are recognized for their potential for good mileage and their good braking properties on wet and dry surfaces. For Toyota Yaris Cross, Goodyear's team has focused on delivering superior ride quality and low noise levels as these are important elements for the target customers.

The good grip, versatile efficiency and comfort mean that the EfficientGrip Performance 2 is completely in line with the needs of a hybrid SUV such as the Toyota Yaris Cross. Drivers require a high-quality tire that gives them low fuel consumption and low CO2 emissions.

The Toyota Yaris Cross is created to give drivers all the benefits of an SUV in a compact unit designed for city driving. Goodyear's EfficientGrip Performance 2 tyres deliver an uncompromising solution for drivers who want the best possible mileage with their new tires while keeping all the good qualities.
