The Ioniq 6 First Edition is the second model in Hyundai's dedicated electric model series Ioniq, and it will be available in a very limited edition of 2,500 cars. These will be available in Hyundai's key EV markets, including Germany, the United Kingdom, France, the Netherlands, and Norway.

The car is built on the state-of-the-art E-GMP platform dedicated to electric vehicles by Hyundai Motor Group (Electric-Global Modular Platform). As a result, it is outfitted with a wide range of advanced technologies and a customer-oriented and very spacious interior. Furthermore, the Hyundai Ioniq 6 has a range of up to 614 km (WLTP). The Hyundai Ioniq 6 First Edition edition comes standard with a Long Range battery pack and AWD, and this motorization has a range of up to 519 kilometers with 20-inch light alloy wheels.

The extremely long range is due, among other thinIoniq gs, to an aerodynamic design. Because of innovative design solutions such as the low front, active air dampers, and so-called wheel gap reducers, which reduce drag in the wheel arches, the Ioniq 6 has a drag coefficient of only 0.21 Cd. The interior of the Hyundai Ioniq 6 is cocoon-inspired, ensuring maximum comfort and a personal and pleasant living space. The electric car has optimized legroom, many practical solutions, and an interior packed with environmentally friendly materials to facilitate an ecologically friendly mobility experience.

International motoring and technology media have already praised the car's design, interior, spaciousness, and electric range, to name a few features. Top Gear wrote in its electric car review that the Ioniq 6 demonstrates Hyundai's "considerable confidence" in its electrification strategy. At the same time, YouTube influencer Marques Brownlee described the car as "one of the best deals for an EV."

The Hyundai Ioniq 6 First Edition elevates the stylish design with many unique elements inside and out. The First Edition comes with its own set of 20-inch matt black alloy wheels. Furthermore, this limited edition features stylish high-gloss black design details around the car.

Inside, Ioniq 6 First Edition vehicles will have several unique design elements to this edition. The interior is black with a black headliner, and it features exclusive leather seats and Tartan-patterned fabric inspired by Hyundai's concept car, the Prophecy. The Ioniq 6 First Edition also gets its ECONYL floor mats with gray Tartan design elements.

The Ioniq 6 First Edition is available in four colors: Biophilic Blue Pearl, Serenity White Pearl, Nocturne Gray Metallic, and Gravity Gold Matte.

The Ioniq 6 First Edition comes standard with four-wheel drive (AWD) and a 77.4 kWh Long Range battery pack. First Edition customers also receive a year's access to IONITY Premium, which provides favorable charging prices on Europe's leading fast-charging network, for a seamless mobility experience. Access is provided via Hyundai's European charging network Charge myHyundai, which also includes access to over 400,000 charging points across Europe.

This Ioniq 6 model is only available to customers in the five dedicated First Edition markets, and pre-sales begin at 10 a.m. on November 9 on a dedicated order page.
