Xiaomi finances the launch of a new contender for the title of the smallest folding electric bike. It is claimed that a model called HIMO H1 is smaller than any existing counterpart.

It is a perfect solution for those who move around the city with an electric vehicle, which does not occupy space and with sufficient autonomy. According to the company, the vehicle is small enough to carry in the backpack when folded. Of course, this is not the fastest and most convenient bike that you can use to move around the city. Nevertheless, it is much easier to carry it up the stairs, to store it in the office or in the apartment than any other electric bike. It also fits easily in the elevator.

Each folding mechanism incorporates a locking system to keep the H1 in both the folded and unfolded position.

In technical terms, the HiMO H1 is more like an electric scooter than a bicycle.

It has rear-wheel drive and a 180W low-speed electric motor, located in the rear wheel hub. It reaches a maximum speed of 18 km / h and its autonomy reaches up to 30 kilometres. Its 6000 mAh battery is removable and charges in approximately five hours.

Its wheels are 6 inches. It also incorporates a front LED headlight and a digital display that reports speed, battery capacity and mileage.

The weight of the HIMO H1 is 13 kg.

Although the HiMO H1 looks very small, company representatives assure that it is designed for a rider with a weight of up to 91 kg.
