The historic Bandini Automobili brand that produced racing cars from 1946 to 1992, returned to the market in style with the elegant electric car Bandini Dora by GFG Style, designed by Giorgetto and Fabrizio Giugiaro. It is an innovative and sporty Barchetta (roadster), 100% Italian and 100% electric car, with a modern design that winks at the past.
The new electric car that marks the return of the historic Forlì house, designed by Giugiaro under the GFG brand, is the concept of a modern all-wheel-drive, fully electric Barchetta BEV. The space frame is made of aluminium and the body is made of carbon fibre. Industry enthusiasts, experts and the press have already been conquered by the new Barchetta, destined to carve out a place in the world of electric sports cars.
The Bandini Dora by GFG Style is powered by two electric motors for a total of 400 kW - 536 horsepower and 677Nm of torque. The engines are placed on two axles to create an all-wheel-drive system. The car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km / h in just 3.3 seconds, while the maximum speed has been limited to 250 km / h.
The autonomy of the 90 kWh lithium-ion battery is 450 km.
The design created by Giugiaro takes up many elements of the old Bandini, restyled them in a modern key. The steering wheel is equipped with a touch screen display that allows the driver to control all the functions of the car.
The Bandini Dora by GFG Style bodywork, imagined and created by Giugiaro, tells the whole sporting soul of the car which will be produced in a limited series.
Bandini Dora presents the style of sports cars produced by Bandini in the 1950s with a touch of modernity.
