America’s most popular pickup will soon be powered by electricity. The creators are releasing an upgraded version of the F-150 pickup. According to the company's president, Jim Farley, an electric pickup is ideal for customers with the highest demands. F-150 Trucks will appeal to those who do not need to overcome decent distances during the day, because they will be used without gasoline or diesel fuel.

Representatives have not yet reported any details about the truck, including when it will go on sale.

Ford F-Series trucks, including the F-150, have been the best-selling in America for four decades in a row. Pickups account for about a third of all firm sales.
