Volkswagen presented two micro mobility concepts at the Geneva Motor Show: the two-wheeled Streetmate e-scooter and the three-wheeled Cityskater. While the first is up to 45 km / h fast, the latter is designed for up to 20 km / h.
The Streetmate - an e-scooter - is a clever alternative to cars, bikes and public transportation in the city. The Volkswagen Streetmate solves traffic problems. Difficult parking circumstances, for example: with its minimal traffic surface, the Streetmate fits into the smallest gap. And it relieves the strain on the ecosystem: thanks to the electric drive, the e-scooter moves emission-free and extremely quiet. At the same time, however, it is a visual statement as well: With its clear, bike-like product design, it stands out clearly from the awkward look of conventional scooters. The Cityskater was conceived shortest distances - for example from the parking lot, the bus or the train to the destination.
