On October 16, Volvo introduced the XC40 Recharge - the first full-fledged electric car of the Swedish brand.
As expected, the crossover SUV received an all-wheel-drive transmission, providing a range of 400 km on a single charge. It is built on a dedicated modular platform that relies on a fully electric powertrain.
Volvo XC40 Recharge was created on the basis of the compact crossover bestseller Volvo XC40. This is the first representative of a new family of all-electric Volvo cars. The company says that the novelty represents the most important stage in the history of Volvo Cars: the first electric car made by Volvo and the first Volvo with the latest multimedia system based on the Android operating system.
