The Audi e-tron GT is the latest electric car from VW. The first electric sedan from VW celebrated its world premiere on Tuesday evening.
The Audi e-tron GT shares the technology with the Porsche Taycan but positions itself below in terms of performance and price. It's built on the same platform as the Porsche Taycan, so it's no surprise that the two have a lot in common. The wheelbase and width of the Audi and Porsche electric sedans are the same - 2.9 m and 1.96 m, respectively. The length of the electric Audi is 4.99 m, which is 3 cm longer than that of its counterpart from Porsche.
The Audi e-tron GT is priced at 99,800 euros, and the similarly equipped Porsche is 106,487 euros. Audi's electric sedan in the RS version will cost at least 138,200 euros, equivalent in performance to the Taycan is around 153,016 euros.
The new fully electric sedan, Audi e-tron GT, uses two electric motors which deliver 469 hp (350 kW) together and a torque of 630 Nm. The electric car accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.1 seconds. The closest equivalent is the Porsche Taycan 4S which has 523 hp with 630 Nm and it can reach 100 km / h in exactly 4 seconds.
