Alternatively, the car can be charged faster using a BMW Wallbox or a public charging station, taking about 5.5 hours or 30 minutes, respectively. The car also features a Plug & Charge Multi Contract option, which allows the car to automatically authenticate and pay for charging at compatible public stations without the need for an app or a card.
