The manufacturer, Tianmei Automobile, will number the models based on body types and sizes. Even numbers (2, 4, 6 and 8) are already reserved for sedans and odd numbers (1, 3, 5 and 7) for SUVs. Therefore, "ET5" is positioned as a mid-size SUV.
