Mercedes-Benz Trucks has partnered with Coca-Cola to bring its electric long-haul truck, the eActros 600, to the streets of Austria as part of the company’s Christmas truck tour. The eActros 600 is the first all-electric truck from Mercedes-Benz, and it offers a range of up to 400 km, a charging time of less than an hour, and a number of safety and assistance systems. The eActros 600 is also part of the integrated eActros solution, which includes eConsulting and digital services to help customers make the transition to zero local emissions.

The eActros 600 is designed to meet the needs of urban distribution transport with its high range, short charging time, and low noise level. The truck has three or four batteries with a capacity of around 112 kWh each, which can be charged at standardized charging stations using a CCS Combo-2 plug. The electric truck can travel up to 330 km on a single charge, depending on the driving conditions and load.
The Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 also comes with proven assistance systems from Mercedes-Benz Trucks to improve safety and efficiency in urban areas. These include Stability Control Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Attention Assist, Sideguard Assist, Active Brake Assist, tire pressure monitoring, Roll Control Assist, and a new fire detection and alarm system in the cab. The truck also has a spacious and comfortable interior with ergonomic seats and a large windshield.
The eActros 600 is not only efficient and safe but also sustainable and future-oriented. It reduces CO2 emissions by up to 90% compared to conventional trucks with diesel engines.
