Toyota presented the first images with the RAV4 Hybrid Black Edition, a special edition that sets everything in black, both on the outside and inside of the car.
The Toyota RAV4 compact SUV has reached the fifth generation and it has reached 10 million units sold worldwide. RAV4 has been with us for more than a quarter of a century. The new Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Black Edition with 306 horsepower is made especially for monochrome lovers.
Unlike the rest of the variants so far, the 19-inch alloy wheels, the front grille, the air intake frames, the spoiler protection elements and the side sills are painted black. Only the Toyota logo and exhaust system finishes are chrome-plated. Inside, the RAV4 Hybrid Black Edition receives black faux leather upholstery (and grey stitching) and a black ceiling.
Among other things, the special edition will be equipped as standard with the following: digital rear-view mirror, a JBL nine-speaker audio system, wireless charging for smartphones, a 360-degree video camera system and intelligent parking. The Toyota Safety Sense package and the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity infotainment system are resent as standard features.
According to Toyota officials, the new RAV4 Hybrid Black Edition is available for order, with deliveries set to begin in October. Prices have not yet been specified, but as a starting point can be taken the usual hybrid equipment, whose price starts at 36,000 euros.
