Opel, the German automaker owned by Stellantis, has unveiled its new Combo Electric and Zafira Electric models, which are designed to offer comfort, space, and technology for families, travelers, and VIP services. The two models are part of Opel’s strategy to electrify its entire product portfolio by 2024 and to become a fully electric brand in Europe by 2028.
The new Opel Combo Electric: A versatile and spacious family vehicle
The Opel Combo Electric is the ideal family vehicle, offering space for up to seven people and a load volume of up to 4,000 liters. The new model features a redesigned front with the Opel Vizor brand face, which extends seamlessly into the LED headlights. The model also offers new features such as full LED headlights and Intelli-Lux LED Matrix Light, which adapts the light beam to the traffic situation and provides optimal visibility.
The Combo Electric is powered by a 50 kWh battery, which is located under the floor and does not compromise the interior space. The battery provides a range of up to 330 kilometers (WLTP) on a single charge, which can be extended by up to 10 percent with the Eco Mode. The battery can be recharged to 80 percent in 30 minutes at a 100 kW fast charger. The model also offers a power output of 100 kW (136 hp) and a maximum torque of 260 Nm, which allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 11.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 130 km/h.
The Combo Electric also offers high safety and convenience, with up to 18 assistance systems that make every journey more relaxing. These include a high-resolution 180-degree rear-view camera, a head-up display, a lane-keeping assistant, a traffic sign recognition system, a blind spot warning system, and an automatic emergency braking system. The model also features a fully digital cockpit with a 10-inch color touchscreen based on the Snapdragon Cockpit platform from Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. The infotainment system offers best-in-class connectivity, with wireless smartphone connection and inductive charging, as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

The Opel Zafira Electric is the perfect travel companion, offering space for up to nine people and a load volume of up to 4,900 liters. The new model also features the Opel Vizor brand face, which gives it a distinctive and modern look. The model also offers high comfort and luxury, with leather seats, a panoramic roof, a heated steering wheel, and a dual-zone climate control system.
The Zafira Electric is powered by a 75 kWh battery, also located under the floor and does not compromise the interior space. The battery provides a range of up to 350 kilometers (WLTP) on a single charge, which can be extended by up to 10 percent with the Eco Mode. The battery can be recharged to 80 percent in 45 minutes at a 100 kW fast charger. The model also offers a power output of 100 kW (136 hp) and a maximum torque of 260 Nm, which allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 13.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 130 km/h.
