Unveiled at the 2024 Auto China in Beijing, the Q6L e-tron boasts an extended wheelbase for maximized legroom, a larger battery pack for superior range, and innovative technology features catering to the Chinese market's preferences.
Extended Wheelbase for Luxurious Comfort
The "L" in Q6L e-tron stands for "long wheelbase," and with good reason. Compared to the standard Audi Q6 e-tron, the Q6L e-tron features a 105-millimeter longer wheelbase. This translates to a significant increase in rear passenger legroom, creating a first-class cabin experience ideal for chauffeured rides or families seeking ample space for passengers and cargo.
Enhanced Range Meets China's CLTC Standards
The extended wheelbase of the Q6L e-tron also allows for integrating a larger battery pack. This translates to an impressive driving range exceeding 700 kilometers (435 miles) according to China's CLTC (China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle) standards. This extended range caters to Chinese consumers' preference for long-distance travel and combats range anxiety, a common concern for EV drivers.
Ultra-Fast Charging for Busy Lifestyles
Understanding the fast-paced nature of Chinese life, Audi equips the Q6L e-tron with 800-volt fast-charging technology. This allows the SUV to replenish up to 260 kilometers (162 miles) of range in just 10 minutes using a suitable DC fast charger. Additionally, the Q6L e-tron can be charged from 10% to 80% capacity in a mere 25 minutes, making it perfect for quick charging during errands or road trips.
