Tesla Model Y - all electric SUV: specifications and prices

The new Tesla Model Y is here! The car was presented at an event that took place in Hawthorne, California. The Y model comes as a crossover electric SUV to complement the portfolio of Model 3, Model S, Model X, Roadster and Tesla.

The new Tesla Model Y will be available in the United States with a starting price of $ 42,000, a standard amount for the Long Range with 2 wheel drive. It can travel up to 483 kilometers per charge, accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 5.8 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 209 km / h.

The other two versions of the Model Y are all-wheel drive and use two thrusters, one for each axle. Regardless of the power output, both variants offer a range of 451 kilometers; the difference lies in its performance: the Long Range version accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 5.1 seconds, while the Performance takes only 3.7 seconds.
