Fiat Professional, the commercial vehicle division of Stellantis, has unveiled its new lineup of vehicles for 2024, featuring electric and internal combustion engine (ICE) versions of its popular models. The new lineup includes the E-Ducato, E-Doblò, and E-Scudo, as well as their ICE counterparts, which are now ready for ordering in the EMEA and Asia-Pacific regions. The new vehicles offer innovative, sustainable and electric mobility solutions for the business of the future, with new design, connectivity systems, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and new engines.
Fiat E-Ducato: The First In-House Electric Ducato
The Fiat E-Ducato is the first electric version of the Fiat Ducato, the best-selling vehicle in its segment and a leader in the recreational vehicle market. The E-Ducato is designed and built in-house by Fiat Professional, ensuring the same characteristics and features that have made the Ducato successful for over 40 years. The E-Ducato has a loading capacity of up to 17 m3 and a payload of up to 1,950 kg, making it suitable for various applications.
The Fiat E-Ducato also offers a choice of battery sizes, ranging from 47 kWh to 79 kWh, which provide a range of up to 223 miles (360 km) in the urban cycle and up to 124 miles (200 km) in the combined cycle. The E-Ducato can be recharged in as little as 30 minutes with a fast charger or in less than six hours with a wallbox. The E-Ducato also features a smart energy management system that optimizes the battery usage and reduces energy consumption. The E-Ducato has a starting price of $54,000 (excluding VAT and incentives).
Fiat E-Doblò: The Compact and Versatile Electric Van
The Fiat E-Doblò is the electric version of the Fiat Doblò, the compact and versatile van that has been produced in three generations since 2001. The E-Doblò is based on the third generation of the Doblò, which is also shared with Citroën and Peugeot as the Berlingo and Partner, respectively. The E-Doblò fully preserves the interior space and flexibility of the Doblò, allowing for a loading capacity of up to 4.4 m3 and a payload of up to 800 kg. The E-Doblò is powered by a 100 kW electric motor that delivers 260 Nm of torque and can reach a top speed of 81 mph (130 km/h).
The E-Doblò has a 50 kWh battery that provides a range of up to 170 miles (275 km) in the urban cycle and up to 124 miles (200 km) in the combined cycle. The Fiat E-Doblò can be recharged in about an hour with a fast charger or in less than eight hours with a wallbox. The E-Doblò also features an eco mode that reduces power output and increases regenerative braking to extend the range. The E-Doblò has a starting price of $36,000 (excluding VAT and incentives).
Fiat E-Scudo: The Smart and Electric Multifunctional Van
The Fiat E-Scudo is the electric version of the Fiat Scudo, the original multifunctional van from Fiat Professional that has been produced in three generations since 1994. The E-Scudo is based on the third generation of the Scudo, which is also shared with Citroën and Peugeot as the Jumpy and Expert, respectively. The E-Scudo is a smart and electric van that can adapt to different needs thanks to its modular design and multiple configurations. The Fiat E-Scudo can be used as a cargo van, a passenger van, or a combi van, with a loading capacity of up to 5.1 m3 and a payload of up to 1,000 kg.
The E-Scudo is powered by a 75 kW electric motor that delivers 260 Nm of torque and can reach a top speed of 81 mph (130 km/h). The E-Scudo has a 50 kWh battery that provides a range of up to 143 miles (230 km) in the urban cycle and up to 106 miles (170 km) in the combined cycle. The E-Scudo can be recharged in about an hour with a fast charger or in less than eight hours with a wallbox. The E-Scudo also features an eco mode that reduces power output and increases regenerative braking to extend the range. The E-Scudo has a starting price of $39,000 (excluding VAT and incentives).
New Design, Connectivity, and ADAS for All Models
The new lineup of Fiat Professional vehicles also features new design elements that enhance their functionality and style. All models have new front bumpers, grilles, headlights, and logos that give them a more modern and distinctive look. The electric versions also have blue accents and badges highlighting their eco-friendly nature. The new vehicles also have new connectivity systems that improve the comfort and safety of the drivers and passengers. All models have a new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a wireless charging pad for smartphones.
The new electric vans also have a new digital instrument cluster that displays relevant information such as speed, battery level, range and driving mode. The new vehicles also have new ADAS that assist the drivers in various situations and increase the level of autonomy. All models have adaptive cruise control with stop&go function, lane keep assist, traffic jam assist, speed limiter, emergency braking, blind spot detection, rear cross-traffic alert, road sign recognition, and driver attention monitoring. The new vehicles also have cross-wind assist, trailer stability control, and active park assist for parallel and perpendicular parking.
