The 2023 Hyundai IONIQ 5 has an electric range of over 500 km

Customers who buy the 2023 IONIQ 5 will get an even better range than before, thanks to the new battery pack of 77.4 kWh. With rear-wheel drive and 19-inch rims, the car will have an electric range of over 500 kilometers.

In addition to the improved range, the updated 2023 Hyundai IONIQ 5 has new equipment elements: exterior digital camera mirrors (Digital Side Mirrors, DSM) and video-based interior mirrors (Digital Center Mirror, DCM). The DCM system is now available on a Hyundai model in Europe for the first time. At the same time, DCM optimizes rear visibility with a clear and unobstructed video image of what is happening behind the car. The DCM camera is located high at the rear spoiler on the IONIQ 5.

The updated version of Hyundai IONIQ 5 has brand new intelligent frequency dampers (Smart Frequency Dampers, SFD), and these ensure an even better response from the ground than before. In addition, it provides higher comfort and further improves sound attenuation. SFD provides adapted and individual suspension comfort for each wheel based on frequencies from the ground. At high frequencies, it will offer softer suspension and a more comfortable driving experience, while lower frequencies provide a smooth damper comfort that improves the steering feel and minimizes heeling.

The Hyundai IONIQ 5 has received a lot of attention since its introduction in 2021, and much is thanks to the groundbreaking features in the car's brand new dedicated electric car platform E-GMP (Electric-Global Modular Platform). In addition, the electric vehicle has a progressive and award-winning design and the possibility of lightning charging in as little as 18 minutes from 10 to 80 percent. The Hyundai IONIQ 5 electric car is also equipped with Vehicle-to-load (V2L). It allows you to charge or supply power to any electrical appliance that runs on a standard 16A circuit. In the future, this can also be used for intelligent power management back to the mains with Vehicle-to-grid (V2G). The car also has innovative relaxation seats that can be folded down to a zero-gravity position, electrically slidable rear seats, the latest in active safety, and many other user-friendly technologies, to name a few.

Deliveries of the 2023 Hyundai IONIQ 5 will start in the second half of 2022.
