The eSprinter will be available as a van with a gross vehicle weight of 3,500 kilograms in a high-roof version. Its electric drive drives the front wheels and, like the entry-level diesel unit, produces 85 kW with a torque of up to 300 Newton meters.
The battery capacity of the eSprinter is configurable in two variants. It can be selected according to the application - depending on whether a larger range or a higher payload is prioritized.
In the more powerful version, four battery units are installed, which corresponds to an installed battery capacity of 55 kWh (usable 47 kWh) with a range of 168 km and a maximum payload of 891 kg. The second variant has an installed battery capacity of 41 kWh (usable 35 kWh), a range of 120 km, and with a payload of 1,045 kg, it is almost at the level of the conventionally powered Sprinter. In both cases, the charging volume of 11 m³ can be used without restriction, since the batteries are installed under the loading floor.
