Electric vehicles are increasingly present in the automotive landscape. It seems that, now, generalist and premium brands have launched into the adventure of putting real options on the market for real use. In the next Frankfurt Motor Show, which will open its doors next week, we can see the new Mercedes-Benz EQV, the 100% electric variant of the V-Class, which offers a powerful motor associated with a large capacity battery.

Under the front hood of the new Mercedes-Benz EQV (which is no longer a concept but a production model) is housed an electric motor that yields 204 hp and achieves a range of 405 kilometers thanks to its battery pack. Of course, this figure that announces the brand is according to the old NEDC approval cycle, we will have to wait to know the WLTP figure, which will be significantly lower.

In any case, it is still a decent autonomy for a model of its dimensions. This vehicle for passenger transport is offered in two body lengths (5.14 and 5.37 meters) and can accommodate up to eight adults. The figures on the table seem like a good approach to the world of the electric minivan.

The Mercedes-Benz EQV has the engine in front and its traction is also front. The battery, meanwhile, is located in wheelbase. It has a total capacity of 100 kWh and can be charged up to 80% in just 45 minutes, provided that a quick charger is used.

To ensure that the new Mercedes EQV electric vehicle is exploited to the maximum in the zero-emission mode, it recharges the batteries even during travel. In fact, during the acceleration or braking phases, the mechanical rotation is converted into electrical energy and used to charge the high-voltage battery.

Equipped with the latest technological advances of the German firm in terms of assistants and connectivity, and with a differentiating design that makes it clear that it is an electric variant, the new Mercedes-Benz EQV will be one of the most prominent models in the next Frankfurt Motor Show.

The Mercedes-Benz EQV electric vehicle also offers maximum interior comfort and unparalleled flexibility. It offers easy handling, comfort, dynamic aesthetics, intuitive operation and generous space - and all without emissions.
