Renault presents the experimental vehicle of a light commercial electric vehicle for urban traffic delivery: Renault EZ-FLEX.

The EZ-FLEX comes with a purely electric drive and full network integration. A dozen models will soon go out to businesses across Europe for testing purposes.

With a length of 3.86 meters, a width of 1.65 meters and a height of 1.88 meters, has a load capacity of up to three cubic meters, with easy access inside the box by a low load threshold only 760 millimeters from the ground and a range of 150 kilometers.

The French have taken into account that this type of electric vehicle may be ideal for small entrepreneurs so that its interior is modular and adaptable to different configurations. The EZ-FLEX has ergonomic access and exit configuration, improved visibility and an interface equipped with professional services and applications.

With these features and other practical details, the model should facilitate the daily work of delivery staff.

The French manufacturer hopes to identify and collect data for special electric vehicles for daily urban delivery.

Last year Renault presented the study EZ-PRO , which also targets the delivery industry. At the presentation, the French described it as "a vision of a networked, fully automated and battery-electric transport system for urban traffic delivery"

“Sustainable mobility for all, now and in the future” is Groupe Renault’s credo.
