Shortly before the market launch of the Corsa-e, Opel significantly reduced the prices for the all-electric Ampera-e in the Netherlands. The business version is now available from 34,149 euros instead of the previous 44,799 euros, for the Business Executive version the starting price has been reduced to 37,149 euros (previously 48,449 euros).

The leasing rates with a term of 60 months and a mileage of 10,000 kilometers per year drop to 459 euros per month for business customers and 539 euros for private individuals. Apparently it is a sale of the remaining existing vehicles, because Opel Netherlands speaks in the message itself of a "limited stock".

With a full 60 kWh battery, the 100% electric Ampera-e has a range of 423 electric kilometres (WLTP). It offers optimum driving pleasure thanks to its 360 Nm torque and 204 hp. The Ampera-e accelerates from a standstill to 100 km / h in just 7.3 seconds.

Despite its compact appearance, the interior of the Ampera-e is surprisingly spacious thanks to the efficient placement of the battery pack in the floor of the car. There are five seats and the boot varies from 381 to 1,274 litres.

The supply of the Ampera-e is limited, so it is best for interested parties not to wait too long.

However, alternatives are sufficient in that case, since Opel will launch four electrified models in 2020, including the plug-in hybrid Grandland X Hybrid4 in the first quarter of 2020 and the fully electric Corsa-e, followed later in the year by the fully electric Vivaro-e and the electric variant of the new generation Opel Mokka.

Opel has also been selling the Mokka in an electric version for a few months. Opel was hoping for even greater success with the Opel Mokka-e than with their small electric car, Opel Corsa-e. And in fact, the interest was so great that the… Continue reading
