The Mustang Mach-E electric SUV can charge an average of 119 km at just 10 minutes when using an IONITY charging station.

In contrast to the data simulated tests, the actual test shows that the Mustang Mach-E achieved on average 26 km (almost 30%) better reach than previously estimated in the more traditionalistic simulation tests. The tests were performed on a Mustang Mach-E Long Range RWD with a range of up to 600 kilometres.

"We are very pleased that the Mustang Mach-E delivers even faster charging than our previous theoretical tests have estimated. That means more time behind the wheel and less time to charge," says Per Gunnar Berg, CEO of Ford Motor Norway.

It is estimated that the Mustang Mach-E Long Range variant with four-wheel drive and the largest battery pack of 99 kWh gets an average 107 km range within 10 minutes of charging from an IONITY charging station. Both the rear-wheel-drive variant and the four-wheel-drive long-range battery pack are estimated to be capable of charging from 10% to 80% in just 45 minutes.

With the Standard Range battery pack (75 kWh battery), it is estimated that the Mustang Mach-E will be able to charge an average of 91 km in 10 minutes.

In Europe, Mustang Mach-E customers can use the industry-leading charging network Ford Charging Solutions. This system delivers seamless and integrated charging across Europe.

The electric Mustang Mach-E is the head of Ford's fast-growing portfolio of electrified models. It is one of a total of 18 new electrified models the company will introduce in Europe before the end of 2021.
