The future Mercedes-Benz G-Class electric could be called the EQG and it could be launched in 2024, according to unofficial information published on a forum of electric car fans. The information shows that the German manufacturer has registered the names EQG 560 and EQG 580.

Mercedes' range of electric EQs is constantly expanding, and the newest member will be EQS, whose presentation will take place on April 15.

Later, Mercedes will launch EQE models, but also SUV alternatives for EQS and EQE. There is no official information yet about the future EQG electric car, but we can expect that the autonomy would be about 500 kilometres.

At the end of 2020, Mercedes-Benz published the first teasers with the EQS electric car, which will have artificial intelligence software and a HEPA filter inside.

Last month Mercedes published the first images with the interior of the future EQS electric sedan, the main attraction being the huge screen called Hyperscreen, which stretches across the dashboard.

Mercedes-Benz recently started the production of batteries for the EQS model, which will be officially presented on April 15, 2021.
