Audi's new e-tron GT electric car is now available for sale at dealers in Europe. The battery-powered Gran Turismo is available in two models, both with all-wheel drive. The new Audi e-tron GT quattro costs 99,000 euros. The Audi RS e-tron GT is priced at 138,000 euros.

An electric motor on the front and one on the rear axle always provide propulsion. With the Audi e-tron GT quattro, the all-wheel-drive generates 350 kW (476 PS) and 630 Nm of torque, with the RS e-tron GT it is 440 kW (598 PS) and 830 Nm. With a net energy content of 84 kWh, the battery permits ranges of up to 488 kilometres. At public DC fast-charging stations, the batteries can be charged for around 100 kilometres in five minutes. Slower AC charging takes place as standard with up to 11 kW of power, and 22 kW will soon be offered as an option.

The new Audi RS e-tron GT is Audi's new top electric model, it sprints from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.3 seconds and reaches 250 km / h. Its chassis includes an adaptive three-chamber air suspension and an electronically controlled differential lock on the rear axle.

“A coating of tungsten carbide on the discs further increases the performance of the braking system, the e-tron sports sound accentuates the technical work of art acoustically,” declares Audi. All of those excellent characteristics are also available for the Audi e-tron GT quattro. Both models are optionally available with wheels up to 21 inches in diameter, all-wheel steering, Matrix LED headlights with laser-like lights and seat covers with a high proportion of recycled materials.

In the interior of the Audi e-tron GT models, the driver and front passenger are separated from each other by a wide centre console. According to Audi, the rear seats provide sufficient space for adults. The leather-free interior also features the Virtual Cockpit Plus on a 12.3-inches display and a 10.1-inches MMI touch display, plus voice control with an online connection. A head-up display is available at an extra cost.

The navigation supports the driver with e-tron specific functions, such as a route planner for calculating the fastest route with the shortest possible charging stops. The luggage compartment in the rear has a volume of up to 405 litres (366 litres for the RS model).
