In the upcoming Audi Q4 e-tron, both driver and passengers experience completely new dimensions and progressive interior design. The space conditions of the electric compact SUV exceed the class standards and a new viewing concept with augmented-reality-head-up display connects the real and the virtual world. The new steering wheel generation with touch control also shows the direction of the upcoming electric car into the future.

The new Audi Q4 e-tron with a length of 4,590 mm, a width of 1,865 mm and a height of 1,613 mm fits perfect in the larger compact SUV segment. The MEB (modular electric-drive toolkit) platform, on which the compact electric SUV is based, allows for a completely brand-new interior design.

Just stepping into the Audi Q4 e-tron is comfortable. The doors open wide and the seats provide a comfortable high position. The driver and up to four passengers can enjoy a generous and spacious interior. The seat position in the back is almost seven centimetres higher than the front and still provides plenty of headroom while the knee space is generous.

As a versatile family car, the 2021 Audi Q4 e-tron is equipped with plenty of storage space in the cabin, a total of 24.8 litres including the glove compartment. The centre console holds two integrated cup holders, a storage space of 4.4 litres, two USB Type-C sockets and an Audi phone box for wireless charging. The boot of the Audi Q4 e-tron holds up to 520 l of luggage.

The new technology era that Audi has entered can also be experienced in the cabin of the Q4 e-tron. The instrument panel has a progressive elegance and enhances the airy feel of the cabin. The digital instruments for the driver are angled towards the driver and can be operated ergonomically correct.

Augmented reality head-up display

With the augmented reality head-up display in the Q4 e-tron, Audi is taking a big step in display technology. It displays important information via the windshield in two separate areas - at the bottom a status area and at the top an augmented reality area. Instructions from certain assistant systems, directional arrows from the navigation system, and start and endpoints are dynamically and optically placed in the right places.

MMI touch screen

The central MMI touch display with acoustic feedback has a size of 10.1” and a resolution of 1,540 x 720 pixels. It is configured as standard with MMI Radio plus with DAB reception and is used to operate the infotainment system and certain comfort functions.

Voice control

Natural voice control activated with "Hello Audi" is the third way to control the Audi Q4 e-tron electric SUV. It understands many questions from everyday speech and if the car is equipped with MMI navigation plus searches are done online.

Steering wheel with touch multifunction controls

The various steering wheel types for the Audi Q4 e-tron are also heading towards the mobility of the future, and with the double-roofed design, they belong to a new generation. The upper spokes have touch surfaces and the function areas have backlighting so that the driver can see the active buttons. The driver can choose between different steering wheel types.

The 2021 Q4 e-tron's interior offers several options when it comes to the seat upholstery. Customers who prefer traditional materials can choose between leather / artificial leather and fine nappa leather. The combination of artificial leather and the Dinamica microfiber is another novelty. Up to 50% of the fabric used consists of recycled PET bottles that have been converted into yarn in a complicated process. It results in a material that has the same quality standard in terms of appearance and feels as conventional textile upholstery.
