A New Design That Makes a Statement
The new Hyundai KONA has undergone a significant design overhaul, resulting in a far more streamlined and aerodynamic vehicle. The design team paid special attention to low air resistance, resulting in a Cd value of just 0.27 for the KONA Electric. The proportions of the new Hyundai KONA have also increased in size, making it more spacious and comfortable for passengers. For instance, the Hyundai KONA Electric EV variant is now 4,355 mm long, which is 175 mm longer than the previous generation, and 25 mm wider at 1,825 mm. The height has also increased by 20 mm, bringing the total to 1,575 mm.
Introducing the ccNC System
The new Hyundai KONA will be the first model from Hyundai to feature the ccNC system, which offers drivers and passengers a new and innovative operating concept. This system enables Over-the-Air (OTA) updates, allowing customers to download individual applications to make the KONA even more digital. The system also features a digital key, which can unlock, lock, and even start the car. The key can be shared between three users' smartphones, allowing family members to use the car without having to exchange a physical key.
