Mercedes-Benz electric vehicles are entering the SUV segment, which they pioneered with the M-Class in the 1990s. The Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV is based on the same technology as the EQE electric sedan, which recently gained a 5-star rating from Euro-NCAP. This means it is available with the extensive MBUX Hyper-Screen digital instrumentation and a variety of safety and driver-aid features. Many functionalities can also be purchased and downloaded digitally afterward. For example, suppose the vehicle is equipped with Digital Light headlights. On the other hand, the Mercedes-EQE SUV wears a different attire. The luxury car is more compact, and the steerable rear axle that can be installed makes it far more agile than you would anticipate from a vehicle of this size class. The internal areas are spacious, with more than a meter between the seat cushion and the ceiling in both the front and rear seats. The four-wheel drive variants feature a maximum trailer weight of 1,800 kg.
The Mercedes-EQE SUV can be ordered with many SUV-specific features, such as an advanced off-road program in the drive mode selector and air suspension that allows the car's ground clearance to be raised by 30mm. The electric SUV can also be equipped with a Dolby Atmos sound system, producing a new sound experience in 360 degrees.
The Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV will initially be available in three regular and two AMG variants, all of which will use the same battery solution. AC charging is standard at 11 kW; however, the luxury electric SUV can be ordered with 22 kW. The direct current charge is 170 kW. All of them have a heat pump that transfers heat from the engine to the passenger compartment.
Mercedes-Benz EQE 350+: - 292 hp from an electric motor positioned on the rear axle. In this case, the range varies from 480 km to 590 km.
Mercedes-Benz EQE 350 4Matic: 292 hp, but with two electric engines. The second is installed on the front axle. In this case, the range varies from 459 km to 558 km.
Mercedes-Benz EQE 500 4Matic: same engine arrangement as the previous option, but with more power and torque. There is 408 hp. The range is between 460 km and 547 km.
Mercedes-Benz EQE 43 4Matic: the entry-level option of the AMG versions has the same torque as the EQE 500, but the engines deliver more power – 476 hp. In this case, the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 4.3 seconds, and the range varies from 431 km to 488 km.
Mercedes-Benz EQE 53 4Matic is the most powerful variant of the family, delivering up to 687 hp when equipped with the AMG Dynamic Plus package. Even with this feature, the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is done in 3.5 seconds. The range is between 375 km and 470 km. @via EQE.
