The new Renault Zoe reaches 390 km of autonomy

As far as the bodywork is concerned, three new colors are now available, such as the Blu Celadon, the Passion Red and the White Quartz, in addition to the previous ones.

A noteworthy addition to New ZOE is the 10-inch driver’s display – a unique feature available right from entry level.”

Alloy wheels are available in 15, 16 or 17 inches depending on the equipment. If the innovations on the outside have evolved but not changed the look of the Zoe, in the passenger compartment the technological evolution of the third generation is much more tangible.

The environment has been completely redesigned and takes up the layout of the new Clio, where the two 10-inch digital instrument panel displays and the 9.3-inch infotainment display stand out in the center of the dashboard.

The Renault Easy Link navigation system indicates the nearest charging stations, also ensuring the availability of the individual columns. There is no shortage of USB sockets dedicated to rear seats and wireless charging for the smartphone.

But the most important news concerns the R135 electric motor, which now develops 136 hp and 245 Nm of torque against the 110 hp and 225 Nm of the R110. The new unit allows Renault Zoe to reach the maximum speed of 140 km /h.

“New ZOE adds a more powerful 100 kW motor, perfectly suited to the fast lane, to the intrinsic charms of electric driving, and also a new mode particularly adapted to urban driving, allowing for the reduced use of the brake pedal, as well as many driving aids designed for comfort and safety.”

The performance increase also concerns the 52 kWh battery, which now guarantees a range of  390 km according to the WLTP cycle.
