The Fiat 500 Electric's phenomenal sales record in Germany continues. According to the latest statistics from the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA), the Italian city car was the best-selling electric vehicle across all sectors in the first half of 2022. The Fiat 500 Electric continues its dominance of the German market for new registrations of battery-powered cars (BEVs) in June, as it did in January and April this year.

"Fiat's continued success with the Fiat 500 Electric in the German market marks a significant event in the company's century-long history. Our new fully electric model range, from the Fiat Panda Hybrid to the Fiat E-Ulysse MPV, makes urban, sustainable transportation more accessible than ever for everyone and every need. In addition, we will do everything we can in the coming months to enable German consumers to enjoy the environmental bonus and innovation incentive for e-cars this year," remarks Roberto Debortoli, Brand Manager, Fiat and Abarth at FCA Germany.

The Fiat 500 Electric not only distinguishes itself from the spectrum of electric vehicles with its classic look. The availability of three body types is also unique in this market. The Fiat 500 Electric is offered as a conventional sedan with two doors and a tailgate, as a cabriolet with an electrically operated soft top, and as a Fiat 500 Electric 3+1 with a second door on the passenger side.

Two different battery packs are available. The 23.8 kW battery is the more cost-effective option for those who primarily drive short distances and live in an area with an established charging infrastructure. Measured using the WLTP cycle, which includes both in-city and longer-distance travel, the maximum possible range is 257 kilometers in typical city driving conditions. The 42 kWh battery provides a maximum range of 320 km. Even in heavy city traffic, you may reach a range of up to 460 km.

In approximately 35 minutes, the Fiat 500e's battery pack can be charged to 80% capacity. With quick charging, after only five minutes of charging, the batteries are sufficiently charged to drive roughly 50 kilometers - more than the usual daily driving distance. @via stellantis.
