Porsche Taycan 4S - official information and photos - entry level electric sports car

Porsche has officially unveiled a new version of the Taycan electric model called the 4S.

Officially launched in September, the new Taycan electric car initially debuted in the most powerful versions called Turbo and Turbo S. Now it's time for the first "normal" version bearing the Taycan 4S badge.

The new version is available with two battery variants: a 79.2 kWh battery as standard equipment, or optionally, the 93.4 kWh battery also available on the top-performing versions.

With the base battery, the new Porsche Taycan 4S can deliver up to 390 kW (530 hp) and with the large battery, the power can increase to 420 kW (571 hp). In both variants Taycan 4S can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.0 seconds, and the maximum speed that can be reached is 250 km / hour.

The official range announced for the Porsche Taycan 4S is 407 km with the 79.2 kWh battery and 463 km with the large capacity battery.

Always present the two-speed gearbox already seen on the Taycan Turbo and Turbo S. On the source of the design the Porsche Taycan 4S is very similar to the top-of-the-range versions. New 19-inch wheels with red calipers and a different front bumper design stand out. Buyers can always personalize it with all the options of the Taycan series. Onboard you can breathe a lot of technology with digital displays and connected infotainment systems. Even sophisticated driver assistance systems are not lacking.

The Taycan 4S comes with a partial leather interior as well as front comfort seats with eight-way electrical adjustment.

The new Porsche Taycan 4S is already available for orders, and the first copies will be delivered to customers in January 2020. On the German market, prices for the Taycan 4S start at 105,607 euros (VAT included).
