Since the bike is not afraid of traffic jams, and you can park it anywhere, in the conditions of busy city streets, it is often faster to get to the desired place on it than by car. Therefore, two-wheeled vehicles are perfect for emergency doctors, especially if it is a uniquely designed electric bicycle: Emergency Bikes.
The electric bike was outfitted with a 150-litre medical and equipment box, a 140-decibel siren, a blue flashing light, decorative elements with medical symbols, puncture-resistant tires, a GPS tracker and a USB port for powering portable devices.
The electric motor used is powered by two lithium batteries with a capacity of 500 Wh each. Thanks to them, the electric drive is able to reach a maximum of 160 km. Hydraulic disc brakes provide effective deceleration of the e-bike.
Emergency Bikes was developed by the Paris branch of the global marketing communications agency Wunderman in cooperation with the French company Ecox Enterprises. Additional contributions were made by the Parisian emergency medical service and the cargo bike manufacturer Urban Arrow, the model of which formed the basis for the Emergency Bike.
The first Emergency Bike has already been purchased and is used daily by a doctor who tested a prototype model in Paris this summer. @ecoxentreprises.fr
