The New Citroen My Ami Pop: A Playful and Eco-friendly Electric Car

If you want a fun, affordable, and eco-friendly way to get around the city, you might want to check out the new Citroen My Ami Pop. This is a fresh and dynamic version of the Ami, a compact electric car that has been a hit in Europe since its launch in 2020. In this article, I will tell you everything you need to know about the new Citroen My Ami Pop and how it can help you make a statement with your electric mobility.

What is the Citroen Citroen Ami?

The Citroen Ami is a small electric vehicle that can accommodate two people and has a range of up to 75 km (47 miles) on a single charge. It can be recharged in just four hours using a standard 220V outlet, thanks to its built-in cable stored in the passenger door. The Ami has a top speed of 45 km/h (28 mph), which makes it ideal for urban driving. It also has a turning circle of only 7.2 m (23.6 ft), which makes it easy to maneuver and park in tight spaces.

The Citroen Ami is designed to be accessible and customizable, with different options for buying, leasing, renting, or sharing. You can order it online and deliver it to your home or pick it up from a Citroën dealer or partner store. You can also rent it by the minute, hour, day, or month through the Free2Move app or website. The Citroen Ami is available in 12 European countries, and you can drive it from the age of 14 or 15, depending on the local regulations.

The Ami has a unique and minimalist design, with symmetrical parts and a cubic shape. It has two identical doors, one opening to the front and one to the back, to optimize space and reduce costs. It also has two identical bumpers and two identical wings, which can be easily replaced in case of damage. The Ami has a panoramic glass roof that lets in natural light, and a digital display that shows the speed, battery level, and driving range.

The Ami offers a range of personalization options, with different colors, stickers, and accessories to suit your taste and style. You can choose from six different versions: Ami, My Ami Grey, My Ami Blue, My Ami Orange, My Ami Khaki, and My Ami Pop. Each version has its own distinctive features and graphics, as well as a matching interior.

What is the New Citroen My Ami Pop?

The new Citroen My Ami Pop is the latest addition to the Ami family, and it has a fresh and dynamic look that gives it even more character. The new My Ami Pop has a new front end, with new headlamp bezels that complement the black chevron strip under the windshield and the black bumper reinforcement, both characteristic of the Pop version. This highly graphic and structured new front end gives it a distinctive and assertive look.

The new My Ami Pop also has more graphics and contrast for the door sticker, a major feature of this version. The sticker on the door retains the number 2, which is a nod to the Ami’s unique approach to mobility. The size of the number 2 has been reduced to make way for a stylized circle and triangle, two very simple and graphic shapes inspired by the digital world of gamers. The circle and triangle are in Infrared red, a signature color of the Citroën range, which also appears on the stickers on the door sills and quarter windows. The Infrared red creates a striking contrast with the black background of the door sticker and adds a touch of energy and sportiness to the new My Ami Pop.

The new Citroen My Ami Pop also retains all the specific exterior styling features that have contributed to its success: four wheel trims, a rear spoiler, and a rear bumper reinforcement. These elements give the new My Ami Pop a playful, youthful, and sporty character that matches its responsive and dynamic driving in electric mode.

Why Should You Choose the New My Ami Pop?

The new My Ami Pop is a great choice for anyone who wants to enjoy the benefits of electric mobility while also expressing their personality and style. The new My Ami Pop is:

  • Fun: The new My Ami Pop has a fun and lively design, with bright colors and shapes that make it stand out from the crowd. It also has a fun and easy driving experience, with a smooth and silent electric motor and a simple and intuitive dashboard.
  • Affordable: The new My Ami Pop is affordable and flexible, with different options for ownership and usage. You can buy it online for $10,200 (including VAT), or rent it for $34 per month (including VAT). You can also use it on demand, for as little as $0.35 per minute, through the Free2Move app or website.
  • Eco-friendly: The new My Ami Pop is eco-friendly and respectful of the environment, with zero emissions and zero noise. It also has a low environmental impact, with a lightweight, recyclable structure and reduced carbon footprint.
