Citroen is committed to offering economical, personalized, and environmentally friendly transportation options: the Citroen Oli family electric car. The Citroen Oli concept car, inspired by the popularity of the Citroen Ami, features many unique design elements.

To counter the industry trend toward bulkier, more complicated, and more expensive electric automobiles, Citroen Ami supplied the push for the Oli, an eye-catching and inventive "laboratory on wheels" aimed to ease family mobility.

Many features and technologies seen in Citroen Oli will be included in future Citroen electric family cars. Whereas the Ami signified a baby step in the right direction, the Citroen Oli connotes a giant leap forward. The Oli is not a 2,500 kg "castle on wheels" loaded with screens and devices. Citroen Oli demonstrates that the demand for low-cost, high-desirability zero-emission mobility that facilitates a wide range of lifestyles can be met.

Citroen thinks it's high time to end the fad for ever-increasing levels of extravagance and luxury in favor of making straightforward automobiles that are easy to use, cheap, inventive, and entertaining.

Electrified and fully electric models such as the Citroen e-C4 and the new Citroen e-C4-X, and light commercial vehicles such as the Citroen e-Berlingo and the Citroen e-SpaceTourer, have already taken advantage of the combined electrified driving with the comfort, personality, and utility that customers have come to expect from Citroen.

With the Citroen Oli family electric car, the french manufacturer demonstrates an innovative strategy for enhancing family mobility in the future by carefully considering every aspect to conserve energy and materials while still producing visually appealing vehicles that are simple to operate, comprehend, and have a respectable driving range and flexible interior.

The Citroen Oli is a cleverly crafted, environmentally friendly family car. Oli demonstrates clearly how the best ecological balance can be attained, beginning with the design phase with judicious, optimal use of lightweight and recycling materials, continuing through the production phase with eco-friendly practices that ensure a long service life, and finally culminating in the product's responsible recycling at the end of its usefulness.

There is careful attention to detail throughout the Citroen Oli family electric car. For instance, the seats have a minimalistic design and use 80 percent fewer components than standard seats. As a bonus, the mesh backs of these seats let in more light from outside the car while still being eco-friendly. Everyone involved wins because the vehicle weight is lowered, the seats are made responsibly and sustainably, and the enhanced interior climate has a good effect on the comfort of the occupants.

The Citroen Oli demonstrates that the range and efficiency disadvantages of battery electric vehicles can be overcome to make EVs more practical, efficient, and affordable. The Oli may have a hefty appearance, but it is actually much lighter and smaller than competing compact SUVs, coming in at just under 1,000 kilograms. Therefore, the all-electric drivetrain only needs a 40 kWh battery to reach a range of up to 400 km. If you cap your speed at 110 km/h, you can expect to use only 10 kWh every 100 km, and a full charge will take just 23 minutes to get from 20% to 80%.

A life companion, the Citroen Oli is a handy everyday car that helps people enjoy their lives to the fullest even when they are not on the go. Inspiring customers' way of life for decades, Citroen is a brand that knows how to make an impact. Whether using it on the road or at home, the Oli is always the picture of functionality and ingenuity.

The Citroen Oli exemplifies how a vehicle with Vehicle to Load (V2L) capabilities may function as a mobile dwelling, making it ideal for weekend road trips to the mountains or the beach. Theoretically, the Oli's 40 kWh battery and 3.6 kW socket output (equivalent to a 230 V 16 A household socket) can power a 3,000 W appliance for about 12 hours.

The Citroen Oli, which is 4.20 meters in length, 1.65 meters in height, and 1.90 meters in width and looks like a compact SUV, makes a bold statement with its unique stance and profile. The Oli, however, is adaptable enough to serve as a family sedan, an urban explorer, an adventure vehicle, a workmate, and even an extension of the family home, with the ability to charge everyday devices, assist in the event of a power outage, and serve as a window-washing platform.

The Oli's style is intentionally garish, which boosts its use and adaptability. Like Citroen Ami, he isn't afraid to flaunt his naivety and natural understanding of the world. The Citroen Oli is characterized by the use of color accents, bright paneling materials, and vibrant patterns that offer opportunities for personalization. The Citroen Oli was carefully designed to minimize its size, weight, and complexity by using as many already existing components as feasible and reusing or recycling the rest.

The Citroen Oli is meant to be a convenient tool for everyday living. The large loading area and trunk are adaptable to any situation, whether you're bringing home flat-packed furniture from a furniture store or inviting paddleboards and a pop-up dome tent for a weekend excursion. The flat, 994 mm wide, removable load floor extends in length from 679 mm to 1,050 mm in an instant, thanks to the folding of the rear seat's independent headrests into the ceiling and the opening of the rear window.

While Oli's design language contrasts horizontal with vertical and curve with flat to demonstrate utility, technical prowess, and intelligent industrial design, the new 'floating' logo accomplish exactly the same. The characteristic double chevron positioned horizontally signals engineering prowess and technical efficiency, while the soft oval that surrounds it emphasizes the brand's unwavering dedication to the well-being of its clients.

Citroen's Oli is meant to send a message about the company's commitment to providing affordable, environmentally friendly, and enjoyable family transportation in the future.

The Oli's ability to last for a long time and hence initiate its own self-sustaining circular economy is an important design feature. It exemplifies how a car can be given a new lease on life with a minimal outlay of time and money through the use of remanufactured components, fresh paint, and other cosmetic touches.

There won't be a significant increase in the price tag over time. Door, headlamp, and bumper replacements, for example, can all be acquired from retired Oli vehicles through Citroen. When a car costs more to refurbish than to buy a new one, the vehicles are usually not reconditioned. Because of the Citroen Oli, this is no longer the case; it is now more sustainable and cost-effective to repair an existing vehicle rather than replace it. If it's not cost-effective to restore an Oli, Citroen will turn it into a spare component donor for other Oli or send it to a recycling facility.
