The Tokyo Motor Show is one of the most imaginative on the planet and another example is the Lexus LF-30 Electrified concept car, a prototype electric sedan, autonomous. This prototype includes a drone that will take care of putting and taking your luggage out of the car.

This curious device, which the Japanese brand has dubbed as Lexus Airporter, is a flying platform where you can deposit your bag so that the drone will load it to the car or vice versa if you arrive on a trip.

The LF-30 Electrified Concept can work by itself and, in fact, its steering column is electronic, without a physical connection between the steering wheel, which allows you to sneak away when the driver prefers to be transported by the vehicle. The chauffeur mode would allow Lexus to move from its parking point to the place where we will meet to pick us up.

In that situation, we can make use of other features that the Lexus LF-30 has, such as the gestural controls to handle, for example, the panoramic roof window, which becomes a gigantic augmented reality screen in which passengers You can select your entertainment options with a simple gesture.

Other striking details of the prototype refer to the side moons, with a variable opacity system , the luminous panels of the front (which communicate to pedestrians if the car operates autonomously or not), the technology of 'artificial muscles' of their rear seats (which allows them to adapt to different scenarios, whether relax, recline or alert) or the noise cancellation system of the Mark Levinson sound system that it incorporates.

It is a large car (more than five meters) and with a spectacular system of opening doors on seagull wings.

For the propulsion, Lexus uses a system already seen in many concept-cars such as the electric motors integrated into the wheels, which in this case add up to 544 horsepower. A solution that matches the philosophy that the Japanese brand will establish in its future electric cars (the first we will see in a few weeks): to integrate all the systems involved in driving - steering, suspension, engine and brakes.

For the recharge of the LF-30 Electrified Concept, Lexus is committed to induction technology to recover energy without wires. In addition, the autonomy management (estimated at 500 kilometers) would be in charge of an artificial intelligence system that would also handle data on the driver's usual routes, his agenda and, of course, the energy rates.
