Honda has opened the online configurator for its Honda e electric car in Germany. Taking into account the VAT, which has been reduced to 16% since July 1, the basic version is included in the list with EUR 32,997. After deducting the environmental bonus of 9,480 euros, in Germany, the Honda e is available from 23,517 euros.

The Honda e Advance version (113kw = 154 hp) starts at a price of 26,441 euros (without environmental bonus: EUR 35,921).

The new Honda e basic version (from 23,517 euros) is powered by a 100 kW (136 hp) electric motor and stands on 16-inch alloy wheels.

The basic equipment includes Side Camera Mirror System, an infotainment system with a navigation system and DAB radio, parking sensors, a rearview camera, front-seat heating, a panoramic glass roof, 16-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and some driving assistants.

In addition to a bit more engine power, the Honda e Advance package brings additional comfort and safety features such as a blind-spot warning, a parking system or a second reversing camera, 17-inch alloy wheels are available here at no extra charge. The Honda e is therefore very generously equipped but is still one of the more expensive small electric cars.

The battery installed an energy content of 35.5 kWh and can be charged to 80% in 30 minutes using the CCS quick charger. The Honda e range is up to 222 kilometres. Since the electric motor is located in the rear, Honda was able to implement an extreme steering angle on the front axle, which gives it a turning circle of just 8.6 meters - a brilliant feature in the city.

The Honda e online configurator can be found here honda.de.

The Honda e was named "Best of the Best" in the automotive category at the prestigious 2020 Red Dot Design Awards for its groundbreaking product design. It is the highest award in the design competition that is awarded annually and goes to the best product in the respective category.

The Honda e offers fully electric driving experience, especially for the urban environment.
