The development of the new Porsche Taycan has now entered the final stage. The Stuttgart manufacturer is finalizing all the details of its planned electric car against its debut that will take place this year. The vehicle will be unveiled in the production version next September as part of the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show.

In recent months the brand itself has offered us little progress on its new model, however, it has been thanks to the numerous spy photos published and rumors leaked that it was possible to follow their development closely. A development that is about to be completed. Recall that the Taycan is derived from the Porsche Mission E Concept.

The Porsche Taycan range will consist of a total of five versions: Carrera, Carrera 4S, Turbo, Turbo S and GTS.

The brand has stated that it will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.5 seconds and will have a range of over 500 kilometers (according to the NEDC cycle). It will use an 800-volt architecture and by using an ultra-fast charging point it will be possible to achieve a range of 100 km in just four minutes.

The Porsche Taycan Carrera will be equipped with an 80 kWh battery and will provide 381 hp. It will have a rear-wheel-drive configuration and, in Germany, its starting price will be € 80,000. A step above we will find the Taycan Carrera 4S with 435 hp, 96 kWh battery and all-wheel drive.

If we go up another step we find the Taycan Turbo with a 96 kWh battery and a power of 608 hp. The most powerful options will be Taycan Turbo S and Taycan GTS.

The Taycan is derived from the Porsche Mission E Concept.
