The Skoda Citigo-e iV city car is sold out in England and can no longer be ordered. All units available for that market sold out. For the small city electric car unveiled in May 2019, it was a huge success. Skoda said that it expected a lot from this model but that demand exceeded supply.

In such cases, a manufacturer normally organizes to increase production and assign new batches of units to meet demands. However, following the outbreak of the Coronavirus, the Skoda factory is stopped and therefore the brand still does not know when it will be able to make Citigo-e iV available again.

This success shows once again that a strong electric car, with the right autonomy and above all with an affordable price, can please many people.

Its cousin Volkswagen e-Up! is selling a lot in Germany, proving that these models proposed in the right way can attract a lot.

The Skoda Citigo-e iV is a small electric city car equipped with a powertrain capable of delivering 84 HP and 210 Nm of maximum torque. Thanks to the 36.8 kWh lithium-ion battery, it is able to offer an autonomy of up to 265 km according to the WLTP cycle.

Prices start at € 22,000 to which any discounts and eco-bonus must be deducted.
