The new Land Rover Defender P400e plug-in hybrid (PHEV) offers cutting-edge versatility and advanced off-road technologies. It is available with the 110 edition body design and delivers a mix of performance and economy while also being the most powerful and durable electrified Land Rover. The P400e PHEV offers unprecedented features and generous clearance angles, adding a new dimension to wilderness adventure.
The 2021 P400e model with 404 hp combines a powerful 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine and a 105 kW electric engine, which ensures high torque and low operating costs( CO2 emissions are between 74-88 g / km and fuel consumption in mixed driving is between 30.0-25.6 km / l). It runs between 43-39 kilometres in fully electric mode with zero emissions from the exhaust including off-road driving, where the instantaneous torque from the electric motor makes the Defender even more powerful. The new P400e uses a 19.2 kWh battery.
The Defender P400e accelerates from 0-100 km / h in 5.6 seconds and top speed is 191 km / h.
Defender P400e SUV is available with five or six seats, 3-zone air conditioning as standard, tinted windows and sun-dimming glass. The PHEV is equipped with regenerative braking, which is a crucial technological method for achieving an impressive fuel economy. MHEV technology contributes to optimized fuel economy through an efficient stop/start system that shuts off the engine during stops, as well as regaining energy that is normally lost during braking or deceleration.
The Land Rover Defender P400e plug-in hybrid can tow up to 3,000 kg and the roof load is 168 kg (dynamic) or 300 kg (static).
The range of accessories for individualizing your Defender has also been expanded with new colours, which include Yulong White, Silver and Carpathian Gray, which are available in combination with several different types of contrast roofs.
You can now also choose between individual accessories: fabric folding roof, Premium LED headlights, Meridian sound system, head-up display and fog headlights.
I wonder if the Defender P400e will also have a roof tent? Yes, but you must pay big money for it.
The starting price for the four-door model is around 55,600 euros and 49,700 euros for the two-door model. But this is only half the truth. With equipment, you can easily add 30,000 euros and more. Land Rover offers five equipment variants: S, SE, HSE, X and First Edition.
