Mazda MX-30 is the first 100% electric car launched by the Japanese car manufacturer Mazda. MX-30 had its world premiere on October 23, 2019, at the Tokyo Motor Show. The car has a starting price of 28,487 euros without VAT. The car has a real range of about 200 km, provided by a 35.5 kWh Lithium-ion battery, cooled with liquid.
Mazda points out that the MX-30 is a car with a battery, not a battery with wheels. The MX-30 electric SUV will offer a natural driving sensation, with a fast response of acceleration, cornering and braking. This is achieved through the innovative technical approaches in the e-SKYACTIV package. This includes integrating the battery into the vehicle body structure, which improves the overall rigidity of the body and ensures direct driving behaviour.
The model will have a 3-year warranty within 100,000 km, while the battery warranty will be 8 years within 160,000 km. The Mazda MX-30 can already be pre-ordered at all Mazda dealers and it is estimated that the first units will be delivered in the second half of 2020.
