The Skoda Citigo-e iV city car is sold out in England and can no longer be ordered. All units available for that market sold out. For the small city electric car unveiled in May 2019, it was a huge success. Skoda said that it expected a lot from this model but that demand exceeded supply.
In such cases, a manufacturer normally organizes to increase production and assign new batches of units to meet demands. This success shows once again that a strong electric car, with the right autonomy and above all with an affordable price, can please many people.
Its cousin Volkswagen e-Up! is selling a lot in Germany, proving that these models proposed in the right way can attract a lot.
