Marketed since March 2013, the Renault Zoe can boast of being number one electric model sales in France and number two in Europe right behind the Nissan Leaf.

This second generation of Renault Zoe is only an evolution of the current model. The new generation of Renault Zoe is expected to be launched in September this year. Official information is still rare, but it has now leaked out that the updated car will provide an increased output of around 95 kW and an improved autonomy of 400 WLTP kilometers.

Visually, according to the report, Renault Zoe II will be more an evolution than a revolution. The first pictures, which were taken behind the scenes, indicated that a large part of the body remains intact. Inside, the new Zoe will take over many elements from the Clio 5.

According to the recently published analysis of the ZSW, 114,310 copies of Renault Zoe are currently on the road worldwide. In 2018 alone, 32,780 new Zoe units were added.

Renault should revise its price down (around 30 000 €) knowing that the current model starts at 32 600 € (including battery and an ecological bonus of 6 000 €). Manufactured during the second quarter, the new Zoé will be marketed at the end of the summer. Finally, despite increased competition, Renault expects sales to increase, as production at the Flins plant will be doubled (from 220 to 440 vehicles per day).
