The Opel Vivaro-e electric van with a range of 330 kilometres

Opel introduced the Vivaro-e electric van model which has 136 hp and 260 Nm.

Commercial fleet operators have just received a new offer: an electric Opel Vivaro-e! The German company made its debut in the electric utility segment with Vivaro-e, it's almost the same Vivaro but guarantees zero emissions.

The Opel Vivaro-e is powered by an electric motor with 136 hp (100 kW) and 260 Nm. It enables a top speed of 130 km / h. The entry-level version is powered by a 50 kWh battery that ensures a range of 230 kilometres. Buyers can also opt for a larger battery pack of 75 kWh, which increases the electrical range up to 330 kilometres in the WLTP cycle.

Opel Vivaro-e

Using a 100 kW source, Vivaro-e recharges 80% of its 50 kWh battery in just 30 minutes; for a larger battery, the same process is completed in 45 minutes. Depending on the market and infrastructure, Vivaro-e has an optional 11 kW three-phase charger or a 7.4 kW single-phase charger in the standard version (the offer of cables and wallboxes varies depending on the energy infrastructure of each market).

The Opel Vivaro-e has a load capacity of 1,275 kilograms. Opel Vivaro-e is given in three body versions, with lengths of 4.6 meters (and a load volume of 4.6 cubic meters), 4.95 meters (and 5.8 cubic meters) and 5.3 meters and volume of 6.6 cubic meters).

The Vivaro van electric vehicle is also the only factory-produced electric utility vehicle with an optional trailer hook that allows a maximum towing capacity of 1,000 kg.

The Opel Vivaro-e electric van highlights as standard equipment: Lane Keep Assist, Extended Traffic Sign Recognition, Drowsiness Alert, Semi-adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Alert and Automatic Emergency Braking.

With Opel Connect, it should be possible to use a cell phone to find out about the charge status of the battery. The LIVE Navigation system provides real-time online traffic information.

The Opel Vivaro-e, Citroën Jumpy and Peugeot e-Expert is one and the same model, the distinction is limited to logos and some minor variations in exterior and interior. The next electric van from the Opel is expected in 2021, that is the Opel Combo-e. @via Opel.
